Suleiman Qadir, son of former Pakistan leg-spin legend Abdul Qadir, has been accused of rape by a woman who worked as a housemaid at his residence. The allegation has triggered a police investigation, with authorities taking the accused into custody for questioning. According to the complaint filed with the police, the woman alleged that Suleiman Qadir forcibly took her to his farmhouse and sexually assaulted her. Allegations against Suleiman made by the housemaid As per the First Information Report (FIR), the complainant stated that she was employed as a housemaid at Suleiman Qadir’s home. She alleged that during her employment, the accused took her against her will to his farmhouse, where he raped her. Following the complaint, police acted promptly and detained Suleiman Qadir for questioning. Officials said the investigation is currently at an early stage and all aspects of the case are being examined carefully. Medical examination ordered for the lodged FIR against Suleiman A senior police officer confirmed that the woman has been sent for a medical examination. The results of the medical test are expected to play a key role in confirming the allegations of sexual assault. “The complainant has been sent for medical examination. Sexual harassment will be confirmed after the test report comes,” the officer said. He also added that Suleiman Qadir has been taken into custody strictly under the law and is being questioned as part of the investigation. Who Is Suleiman Qadir? Suleiman Qadir, 41, is a former cricketer who played domestic cricket in Pakistan between 2005 and 2013. During his career, he featured in 26 First-Class matches and 40 List-A games.
