Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) State Service Main Examination 2025 can now only be conducted after the 2026 preliminary examination. The Commission has set April 26 as the date for the 2026 State Service Preliminary Examination. As such, conducting the 2025 mains exam before this is considered almost impossible. The examination is currently stalled due to a High Court stay. The hearing is expected on February 10. According to experts, if the hearing takes place on February 10, PSC will present its case before the court and seek permission to conduct the State Service Main Examination. However, even after getting permission, it won’t be easy for PSC to conduct the exam before late April or May 2026. Main exam difficult before April due to these three reasons The State Service Main Examination 2025 was initially scheduled to be held on June 9, 2025, but due to the court’s stay, new dates have not been announced yet. According to MPPSC OSD Dr. Ravindra Panchbhai, a hearing is expected in February, and during this time, the Commission will present its case in court. Candidates facing delays for 7 years Earlier, when selection lists would come within a year, now the process is stretching to one and a half to two years. Many petitions were filed in the State Service Exam 2019 and 2023 as well. The matter reached the Supreme Court, but after long hearings, the PSC was given permission to issue selection lists.
