Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave a motorized tricycle to a differently-abled man in Bhopal on Friday. Earlier, on January 18, Chouhan visited Vidisha and met Panna Lal, who sells dates from a cart. After buying dates from him, the minister promised to give him a motorized tricycle. Today, Chouhan fulfilled his promise and handed over the tricycle to Panna Lal at his residence. The minister also said he will look for more differently-abled people and provide them tricycles to make it easier for them to run their businesses and travel. Shivraj said: We should help those brothers and sisters who are in trouble Before presenting the motorized cycle to Panna Lal, Shivraj said, “I believe we are all one family, and if any brothers and sisters of the family have been left behind, or are facing any hardship or trouble, we should help them. Four-five days ago, when I went to Vidisha, I saw Panna Lal. He had picked up dates in his hand and ran towards my car. I went to him, and then the thought arose in my mind that due to poverty and circumstances, many people spend their lives in hardship.” When he befriended Pannalal, he asked for a motorized bicycle. Shivraj said – I befriended Pannalal. After befriending him, he said only one thing: ‘I have difficulty moving around, so give me a motorized bicycle.’ One has to do it for a friend. Shivraj hummed a song and said- Let the world be our enemy, but this friendship of ours will remain. Shivraj said – I arranged a motorized cycle for Panna Bhai. Actually, I wanted to present this gift at the same intersection, but due to busy schedules, I am presenting it by inviting Pannalal ji and Bhabhi ji. It also has a provision for keeping luggage at the back. This is not just for moving around but also for employment. Shivraj said- A thought has come to my mind: May God give me the strength, as far as possible, to find severely disabled brothers and sisters whose body parts do not function, and provide them with such motorized cycles so that they can sustain their livelihood. Reached Ganjbasoda by train Shivraj reached Ganjbasoda, his parliamentary constituency, by train. During the journey, he interacted with passengers. He took selfies with children and youth.
