Preparations for the state-level inauguration ceremony of the Khelo MP Youth Games have entered the final stage. In this connection, Minister for Cooperation, Sports and Youth Welfare Vishwas Kailash Sarang conducted a late-night inspection of TT Nagar Stadium on Tuesday around 9 pm to review the arrangements. Minister reviews arrangements, issues clear directions During the inspection, the minister closely examined every aspect of the venue and issued clear instructions to departmental officials. He said the state-level inauguration ceremony should not be a mere formality, but a reflection of Madhya Pradesh’s sports culture and the energy of its youth. He stressed that the event must be dignified, well-organized and grand, so that players and spectators coming from across the state return with a positive and inspiring message. The minister directed that teams from all districts of the state should participate in the ceremony and that essential facilities for players, coaches and guests be completed well in advance. Focus on security, logistics and public facilities The minister carried out a detailed review of entry arrangements, stage decoration, sound and lighting systems, security measures, traffic management and spectator facilities. He made it clear that no lapses or mismanagement would be tolerated at any level and instructed all departments to work in close coordination. He also stressed strengthening publicity and outreach efforts so that a larger number of citizens can connect with and participate in the event. Special emphasis on player welfare Minister Sarang held detailed discussions with officials regarding the transportation, accommodation, food and health services for players. He instructed that there should be no shortcomings in these arrangements, enabling athletes to compete with peace of mind and deliver their best performances. He underlined that the objective of the Khelo MP Youth Games goes beyond competition, stating that the initiative aims to provide a strong platform for the youth of the state to showcase their talent and emerge as future sports champions.
