Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is on a visit to Indore. He first reached Bombay Hospital, where he met patients affected by contaminated drinking water. After this, he is scheduled to visit areas impacted by the water contamination and meet affected families. Rahul Gandhi will meet the family of five-month-old Avyan, along with other affected families, at Sanskar Garden. According to sources, during the visit, affected families will be given financial assistance—Rs 1 lakh by Rahul Gandhi and Rs 50,000 by Madhya Pradesh Leader of the Opposition Umang Singhar. Along with Rahul Gandhi, AICC in-charge Harish Chaudhary and MP Congress president Jitu Patwari are also present during the visit.
