Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma purchase 2nd-property in Alibaug for ₹37.86 crore:Star couple acquires another land parcel in beach town despite London stay

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have again purchased a big piece of land in Alibaug, near Mumbai. This time, the star couple has bought two land parcels spanning over five acres of land for ₹37.86 crore, as per CRE Matrix’s registration documents. The two sections of land have an area of 1.474 hectares and 0.627 hectares in the latest purchase. However, this is Virat-Anushka’s second investment in the land in Alibaug in the last four years. Earlier in 2022, the couple acquired 8-acre of land for building their farmhouse. Registration for the land acquisition is already completed for Virat-Anushka Both Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have bought the pieces of land together in Zirad village, near Awas Beach in Alibaug, Raigad District. Both of them were bought for a worth of ₹37.86 crore on 13 January, 2026. As per the official records, the couple submitted ₹30,000 and an additional ₹2.27 crore of stamp duty for registering the transaction of the plot. Meanwhile, the second plot is 6,270 square metres, totalling 21,010 square metres, as per property registration records. For the land acquisition, a message has been sent to Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, and the seller, along with an email to Samira Land Assets Pvt Ltd. However, they have not received any response. It is worth noting that Virat and Anushka already have a luxurious property in Alibaug. Couple already owns a ₹19 crore plot in Alibaug Notably, around four years ago, in 2022, the celebrity couple caught headlines for purchasing an 8-acre plot for around ₹19 crore. The couple has built a villa on the plot. The property amenities include a temperature-controlled pool, a customised kitchen, four bathrooms, a jacuzzi, a garden, covered parking, and the staff quarters.
