3% discount on general tickets through RailOne app from today:Offer available for 6 months; total 6% benefits on payments through R-wallet

From Wednesday, January 14, 2026, you will get an additional 3% discount when booking unreserved (general) tickets through the RailOne app’s wallet. Additionally, if you book tickets through the RailOne app and pay using R-wallet, you’ll get double the benefit. Because a 3% cashback was already being given on booking general tickets through this method. From today, the total benefit (cashback + additional discount) would be 6%. This offer will remain valid for 6 months until July 14, 2026. Indian Railways had announced the offer on general tickets on December 30. This discount will not be available on any other platform Railway officials have clarified that this additional 3% discount will only be available on the RailOne app. If passengers book general tickets from any other online platform or website, they will not get the discount.
