A serious allegation has been made against a guest lecturer in Geology at PM Excellence College, Baidhan, Singrauli. The lecturer is accused of pressuring a married female student and engaging in objectionable conversation in exchange for helping her pass a paper. The student’s husband, who serves in the Indian Army, has filed a complaint on the Chief Minister’s Helpline 181. The college management has said it will investigate the matter. Alleged incident details The student had missed a Geology paper. Missing it would have meant waiting a year to pass. She contacted the concerned guest lecturer for help. It is alleged that on Saturday night at around 10:30 PM, the lecturer WhatsApp called the student. During the call, he allegedly said: “I will get your paper done on Sunday. Come alone. You will have to do what I say. Don’t tell anyone about this.” Husband’s complaint The student’s husband said the lecturer’s tone was indecent and coercive. The student immediately shared full details with him. He stated that screenshots of the call are available. Despite filing a complaint on the CM Helpline, he claims no immediate action was taken against the lecturer. Accused lecturer denies allegations Guest lecturer Dr. Shivesh Saket denied all allegations. He said the claims were false and intended to pressure him. He added that the phrase “come tomorrow” referred to a working day, not Sunday, and he did not have any objectionable conversation. College management response College Principal Dr. M.U. Siddiqui said the institute has not yet received any written complaint. He stated that after receiving an official complaint, the college will conduct an internal investigation and take necessary action.
