There was a commotion at the Municipal Corporation Council meeting in Bhopal on Tuesday. Congress councilors arrived with posters protesting beef at the corporation’s slaughterhouse. They demanded the resignation of the Mayor and the MIC (Mayor-in-Council). BJP councilor Devendra Bhargava protested beef by pasting paper on his jacket. Meanwhile, Hindu organizations are protesting on the streets. The meeting had already started an hour late. Due to the commotion, the meeting was adjourned for 30 minutes. Earlier, during the meeting, several councilors, including senior BJP councilors Surendra Bathika and Pappu Vilas Ghadge, protested. MIC member RK Singh Baghel said that strict action should be taken against the culprits in this matter and a high-level committee should be formed.
