Yuzvendra Chahal denies dating RJ Mahvash:Cricketer clarifies ‘We are just friends,’ also opens up on divorce from Dhanashree

Yuzvendra Chahal has addressed recent dating rumors linking him to RJ Mahvash, clarifying that he is single and they are just friends. He also spoke about his divorce from Dhanashree Verma, stating it’s a closed chapter he’s moved on from. Chahal emphasised his desire to avoid dwelling on the past and wishes his ex-wife happiness. He humorously dismissed speculation fueled by a recent appearance on the Kapil Sharma Show. Speaking about the divorce, Yuzvendra Chahal recently said in an interview with Mashable India, ‘That was a chapter of my life that is now over. I have moved on from that. I don’t want to get stuck in that place by talking about it. I don’t want to remain stuck in this. My life is going on, and her (Dhanashree’s) life is going on. May she be happy in her life, we are happy in our lives. Be happy, what do you gain in life by making someone sad. Everything was over as soon as we came out of court.’ During the interview, Yuzvendra Chahal also spoke about dating rumours. When asked about the videos that went viral with RJ Mahvash, he replied, ‘When friends hang out, a video comes out. She’s a friend, there’s no relationship. Happy single.’ Notably, Yuzvendra Chahal’s name has been constantly linked with RJ Mahvash. The two have been seen dining together and enjoying matches in the stadium on several occasions. Last year, RJ Mahvash also hinted at a relationship on Kapil Sharma’s show. On the show, Krushna Abhishek dressed up as a girl and teased Yuzvendra. Krushna told Chahal, “Why are you scared? I’ve seen it on Instagram. You’re not too scared.” A little later, Kiku Sharda checked Yuzvendra’s bag and, showing a lipstick mark on his shirt, asked, “What’s going on, Yuzvendra Chahal ji? Who is this? The whole of India wants to know. Lately, you’ve been acting like this, huh? Who is this?” In response, Yuzvendra laughed and said, “India already knows.”
