In a warm-up match played on Saturday before the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026, India defeated Scotland by 121 runs through the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method. The hero of this match was 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi who played a storming innings of 96 runs off just 50 balls. During this, his bat produced 9 fours and 7 sixes. He fell just four runs short of a century. India posted a huge score of 374/8 in 50 overs. Due to rain, Scotland received a revised target of 234 runs in 24 overs.
