On Friday, Ujjain Collector Roshan Singh made a surprise inspection of the villages Gangedi and Raghopiplya. The Collector spoke to some villagers and also met children at a school. During this, the children told the Collector not to close the school. The children said, “Sir, we don’t feel good at home, we miss school.” Collector Roshan Kumar Singh conducted surprise inspections of rural areas. During the inspection, District Panchayat CEO Shreyans Kumat, Sarpanch of village Raghopiplya, village Gangedi, and rural officials were present. Collector Singh interacted with students at Government School Gangedi and motivated everyone to build their future. During this, the students told Collector Singh that when school was closed due to the cold, they didn’t feel good at home, as at school they got good food, the opportunity to play with friends, and a chance to study. Student said – I want to become a police officer Meanwhile, a female student told the Collector that she wants to become a police officer. When the Collector discussed the future with all the children, they talked about becoming Army personnel, doctors, engineers, police officers, Olympic athletes, and scientists. During the inspection, the Collector discussed with Sampat Bai Parmanand in Gram Gangedi about the availability of tap water through the tap water scheme. Information was obtained about the Ladli Bahna scheme, the availability of fertilizers, and the electricity supply.
