Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) President and son of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Mahanaryaman, visited Apollo Hospital in Gwalior on Tuesday for a medical examination after sustaining a chest injury during a roadshow in Shivpuri a day earlier. Injured during Shivpuri roadshow The incident occurred in the Kolaras area of Shivpuri district, where Mahanaryaman Scindia had gone to attend a cricket tournament. After the event concluded, he stood through the sunroof of his car to greet the public. During this time, the vehicle suddenly braked, causing his chest to hit the sunroof, resulting in an injury. Following the impact, he briefly sat inside the car but soon resumed greeting people from the sunroof. However, while traveling from Pichhore to Chanderi after the programme, he experienced severe pain. First taken to Shivpuri district hospital After complaining of increasing pain, Scindia was taken to the Shivpuri District Hospital, where a team of doctors examined him and diagnosed a muscle injury. CT scan and further tests conducted in Gwalior On Tuesday, after travelling from Shivpuri to Gwalior, Mahanaryaman Scindia visited Apollo Hospital for further evaluation. Doctors conducted a CT scan along with other necessary tests. A large number of supporters were present outside the hospital during his visit. When he emerged from the hospital after the examinations, he appeared visibly uncomfortable due to pain. While he usually greets supporters at public events, he was unable to do so on this occasion. Doctors advise precautions A chest physician at the hospital examined him and provided specific medical advice. The extent of the injury and the timeline for his full recovery are yet to be determined. After the check-up, Mahanaryaman Scindia left for Delhi for further engagements.
