Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has emerged as one of India’s leading destinations for investment, positioning itself as a growing hub for IT, industry, and start-ups on Monday. Speaking at the Rajasthan DigiFest–TiE Global Summit 2026 in Jaipur, the Chief Minister said Madhya Pradesh became the country’s third-highest investment-attracting state in 2025, underlining the state’s strong economic momentum. MP is a natural centre for trade, industry and exports Dr Yadav said Madhya Pradesh’s central location gives it a strategic advantage for trade, manufacturing, business expansion, start-ups, and exports.
“Investment in Madhya Pradesh is profitable in every sense. With industry-friendly policies, strong infrastructure, and a supportive government, the state offers an ideal environment for investors,” he said. Calling Rajasthan a “sister state,” the Chief Minister said the two states would work together to promote IT-sector industries and technology-led growth. IT, start-ups and industry on fast growth track Addressing investors and industry leaders in the presence of Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, Dr Yadav said Madhya Pradesh is progressing steadily across all development sectors. He highlighted that two new tiger reserves have been established in the state over the past two years. “Madhya Pradesh is already known as the Tiger and Vulture State, and now cheetahs are also rapidly increasing their population here,” he added. Government assures full support to investors The Chief Minister said the state government has initiated the establishment of medical colleges and hospitals under the PPP model to strengthen healthcare services and increase the availability of doctors. Reaffirming long-term commitment to investors, Dr. Yadav said, “Anyone setting up business or industry in Madhya Pradesh will receive complete cooperation from the government.” Rajasthan Deputy CM Dr. Premchand Bairwa also stressed growing cooperation between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh to create more opportunities for investors, start-ups, and youth. Indore, Bhopal among leading tier-2 tech cities Additional Chief Secretary (Science and Technology) Sanjay Dubey said Tier-2 cities are emerging as leaders in India’s technology sector, with Jaipur, Indore, and Bhopal among the frontrunners. He said Madhya Pradesh’s new policies focus on simplifying business processes, while also offering major incentives: Industry leaders praise MP’s business ecosystem Impetus Technologies CEO Sanjeev Agrawal said he has been working in Madhya Pradesh for over 32 years. “The IT ecosystem has matured significantly, and the state is now successfully serving global clients,” he said. Infobeans Technologies co-founder Siddharth Sethi noted that Madhya Pradesh was India’s first state to establish a Special Economic Zone (SEZ). He said Indore’s IT Park is expanding rapidly, supported by forward-looking drone and space technology policies. Yash Technologies co-founder Dharmendra Jain said over 1,500 employees currently work at the company’s Indore facility. “Once an industry stabilises here, it gains momentum automatically due to the strong industrial ecosystem,” he said. Manufacturing, recycling and global tech interest Clinispplies India director Prerita Baheti highlighted the company’s rapid expansion in Madhya Pradesh, including a ₹100 crore manufacturing facility at the Vikramaditya Medical Device Park in Ujjain, expected to generate over 1,000 jobs. Gravita India Limited Chairman and Managing Director Rajat Agrawal described recycling as a future-oriented industry that links environmental sustainability with economic growth. Accenture Managing Director Carlina Marani pointed to a global shortage of advanced digital skills and said Tier-2 Indian cities, with strong talent pools and better quality of life, can play a key role in future tech growth. She expressed interest in expanding operations in Madhya Pradesh. CM holds one-on-one meetings with global investors During the summit, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav held one-on-one meetings with CEOs, investors, and global industry representatives to discuss strategic investment opportunities and long-term partnerships in Madhya Pradesh. He also met Ammar Al Malik, Executive Vice President of Dubai-based TECOM Group, focusing on institutional collaboration inspired by Dubai’s successful digital cluster model.
