A doctor was murdered in broad daylight in Gwara village of Jabalpur district, triggering panic in the area. The victim has been identified as Dr. Mahendra Singh Thakur, who had gone out for an outing with his friends when the incident occurred. According to preliminary information, unidentified assailants slit the doctor’s throat, killing him on the spot. Upon receiving information about the incident, CSP Anjul Iyank, along with the Bhedaghat police station team and officials from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), rushed to the scene. The body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem examination. Police have registered a murder case against unknown persons and initiated an investigation. Several crucial pieces of evidence were recovered from the crime scene and secured by the FSL team. Police are questioning locals and scanning the area to identify suspects. Officials stated that the case is being investigated from all possible angles and assured that the accused would be arrested soon. We are continuously updating the news.
