BCCI has instructed Shah Rukh Khan’s IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to remove Bangladeshi player Mustafizur Rahman from the team. The demand for his removal was rising due to the ongoing violence against minority Hindus in Bangladesh. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia has stated that in view of the recent developments, the BCCI has instructed the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to release one of its players, Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman, from the team. The BCCI has also said that if the franchise requests a replacement player, it will be allowed.
