New Year celebrations | 2 km-long queues in Kashi, Ayodhya:Jaisalmer sees highest crowd in 10 years; 1.2 million devotees expected at Ujjain Mahakal

Before the new year, religious and tourist places across the country are witnessing a flood of people. In Ayodhya for Ram Lalla and in Kashi for Baba Vishwanath, there are 2-2km long queues for darshan. At Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, an estimated 10 to 12 lakh devotees are expected to arrive on the first day of the year. Jaisalmer in Rajasthan is seeing the highest crowd in the last 10 years. At Khatushyamji in Sikar, devotees are getting darshan in 2 hours.
