Before the New Year, a flood of devotees has surged at religious places across the country. On Monday, 2 lakh devotees reached Vrindavan and 3 lakh reached Kashi Vishwanath. In Ayodhya, 2-kilometer long queues have formed for the darshan of Ramlala. The Banke Bihari temple management has appealed not to come to Vrindavan until January 5. In Sikar, Rajasthan, devotees are able to have darshan of Khatu Shyam Ji in an hour and a half. On New Year’s, an estimated 12 lakh devotees are expected to reach Ujjain Mahakal’s court.
