Previously, Virender Sehwag had scored a double century in 182 balls against Pakistan in Lahore in 2006. Masood also shatters Inzamam-ul-Haq’s record Shan Masood also broke the record for Pakistan’s fastest double century. Previously, this record was held by Inzamam-ul-Haq, who scored a double ton in 188 balls in 1992. Shan Masood stitched a whopping 390-run partnership On the first day of the match, SNGPL was asked to bat first. The team’s first wicket fell at 53 runs in the form of Azan Awais. After this, Shan Masood and Ali Zaryab made a big 390-run partnership for the second wicket. This partnership was the ninth-largest partnership for any wicket in Pakistan. Ali Zaryab scored 192 runs off 237 deliveries, while Shan Masood stayed unbeaten with 212 runs off 185 balls until the end of the day’s play. His strike rate was over 114.
