New Year, 2-km-long queues in Ayodhya Kashi:Appeal not to visit Banke Bihari, Khatu Shyam darshan in two hours; VIP darshan closed at Omkareshwar

Ahead of the New Year, a massive surge of devotees has been seen at religious sites across the country, while tourist destinations are also witnessing a heavy influx of visitors. In Ayodhya and Kashi, devotees are standing in queues stretching up to two kilometers for darshan of Ram Lalla and Baba Vishwanath. The Banke Bihari temple administration has appealed to people not to visit Vrindavan until January 5. In Rajasthan’s Sikar, devotees are getting darshan of Khatu Shyam Ji within one-and-a-half to two hours. Due to the rising crowd, VIP darshan has been suspended at the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga temple.
