Ahead of the New Year, a massive surge of devotees has been seen at religious sites across the country, while tourist destinations are also witnessing a heavy influx of visitors. In Ayodhya and Kashi, devotees are standing in queues stretching up to two kilometers for darshan of Ram Lalla and Baba Vishwanath. The Banke Bihari temple administration has appealed to people not to visit Vrindavan until January 5.
