Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be in action once again in the second round of matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, on 26 December. Rohit’s Mumbai, after defeating Sikkim, will face Uttarakhand on 26 December in Jaipur. Virat and his Delhi team will face Gujarat in their next match on the same date, in Bengaluru. Delhi had beaten Andhra Pradesh in their first match.

Both Rohit and Virat marked their return to domestic cricket with centuries. The Hitman smashed 155 runs off 94 balls, helping Mumbai chase down Sikkim’s 237-run total in just 30.3 overs. Virat also scored a century (131) and his knock came in a winning cause as well as Delhi outclassed Andhra Pradesh by four wickets, chasing down a 299-run target in 37.4 overs.
Virat also etched another record in his illustrious career. The right-hander reached 16,000 runs in List-A cricket and became the fastest to do so, surpassing the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. Rohit, on the other hand, scored the fastest century of his List-A career as he got to the three-figure mark off 62 balls.
