The troubles of dismissed SI Ramveer Kushwah, imprisoned in the Atmaram Pardi case, are continuing. Now, his brother is accused of threatening a witness and trying to force a compromise. The case is connected to the suspicious death of a driver in 2015. It is alleged that Ramveer’s brother went to the deceased driver’s father, offered him 50 lakh rupees, and pressured him to withdraw the case. When the father refused, he was threatened. An FIR has been filed at Narahat police station in Lalitpur district in this matter. Threatened at home – ‘Don’t complain about Daau now’ Gopal Kushwah, father of the deceased Makhan Kushwah, told the police that on December 15, three people came to his house in Narahat (UP). One of them identified himself as Ramveer’s brother Shyamveer, while the other two were unknown. The accused told Gopal – “Settle Ramveer’s case, let him get bail. We will give you 50 lakh rupees.” When Gopal flatly refused to take the money and settle, the accused threatened him as they left, saying, “Now don’t complain about Dau (Ramveer).” Gopal told the police that he fears that if he doesn’t settle, these people might do something to him or his son. Father said – was burnt to death in 2015 This entire case dates back to 2015. UP driver Makhan Kushwah died in suspicious circumstances due to burns in the Dharnavada police station area (Ruthiyai outpost) of Guna district. Ramveer Kushwah is accused in this case, and a case (Crime No. 473/19) has been registered. The deceased’s father, Gopal Kushwah, has been fighting for justice for his son ever since. Now, financial inducements and threats are being offered to hush up this case. UP Police Registered Case, Ramveer is in Rewa Jail Based on Gopal Kushwah’s complaint, Narahat police have registered a case against Shyamveer Kushwah and two unknown persons under Section 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for threatening to cause harm to life and property. It is noteworthy that dismissed SI Ramveer Kushwah, arrested on charges of Atmaram Pardi’s death and fraud, was initially held in Chanchoda Jail in Guna. However, due to the apprehension of influencing evidence if he remained in Guna, he was shifted to Rewa Central Jail on the orders of the Jail Headquarters. He is currently incarcerated there.
