Kabaddi match turns violent in Chhatarpur:Chairs hurled as players clash before state minister; police step in to defuse tension

A dispute broke out between players during a Kabaddi match at the Sansad Khel Mahotsav in Chandla, Chhatarpur district. What began as a minor argument soon turned into a fight, creating chaos at the venue. A video of the incident surfaced on Saturday. In the video, players from Chandla Mandal and Gaurihar Mandal can be seen clashing with each other during the match. Chairs were thrown, and panic spread among spectators. The exact reason for the dispute is still not known. After receiving information about the incident, police personnel and event organisers present at the spot intervened and brought the situation under control by separating the players. The Sansad Khel Mahotsav was organised in the Chandla Assembly constituency, which falls under the area of MP B.D. Sharma. State Minister Dilip Ahirwar was present at the event as the chief guest.
