Leopard enters Mandsaur residential area, causing panic:Animal runs through streets, sits in under-construction house; authorities set up cage to rescue

On Wednesday morning, a leopard entered the Sanjeet Naka area of Mandsaur. The animal went into an under-construction house in Mayur Colony and stayed there. After receiving information, the forest department and police reached the spot. CCTV footage shows the leopard running through the streets of the colony around 8 AM. Now, it is sitting inside the house, causing fear and surprise among local residents. Some people have climbed onto nearby roofs to see it. As there is no wildlife expert in Mandsaur, the forest team has come from Gandhi Sagar to rescue the leopard. Cage Ordered, appeal to stay indoors
The forest department team is setting up a cage in Mayur Colony to catch the leopard. Heavy police force has been deployed keeping security in mind.
