After Clean City, Indore focuses on Green City:3D Green Model to increase greenery, Startup Parks and Convention Centers to be ready in 3 years

In the presence of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, a high-level meeting was held in Indore on Sunday to plan a future-ready city. The focus was on increasing greenery, new development projects and better security systems. The meeting decided to work at three levels to improve green cover. A 3D green model of Indore will be prepared to guide this plan. For the Hukumchand Mill project, tenders will be issued within three months and large developers from across the country will be invited. Vacant land measuring 34,236 square metres in Palasia will be redeveloped, with special attention to greenery. Tenders for a startup park on the Super Corridor will also be issued in three months and the project will be completed in three years. A convention centre will be built in Scheme 172 under the PPP model. It will have space for 5,000 people indoors and 10,000 people outdoors. To improve city security, a Community Camera Policy will be implemented. Under this, 13,690 locations will be connected with about 60,000 CCTV cameras. The meeting also set a target to make Indore slum-free within the next five years.
