Yashasvi Jaiswal scores 50-ball-101 in SMAT:Sarfaraz Khan’s quickfire 64 helps Mumbai chase down 235 to beat Haryana in Super League

Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a match-winning century (101 off 50 balls) against Haryana in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Super League at the DY Patil Academy on Sunday, 14 December. Middle-order batsman Sarfaraz Khan scored a half-century. Thanks to their excellent batting, Mumbai chased down a target of 235 runs against Haryana in a T20 match, losing 6 wickets in just 17.3 overs. Mumbai scored 238 runs for 6 wickets. In the match played in Pune, Haryana were put to bat first after losing the toss and they scored 234 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs. Captain Amit Kumar scored 89 runs and Nishant Sindhu played an innings of 63 runs off 38 deliveries. In reply, Mumbai got past the finish line to win the match by four wickets with 15 balls remaining. Jaiswal hit 16 fours and one six in his 50-ball innings.
