Security has been stepped up for Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan following inputs from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Additional arrangements were put in place late on Friday night at his residences in both Bhopal and Delhi, with more barricading deployed around the B-8 house at 74 Bungalows in Bhopal and enhanced security at his government residence in the capital. Report of ISI gathering information on Shivraj According to a Union Home Ministry letter on enhanced security, Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI has shown interest in gathering information about Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Acting on the central security agencies’ advice, his security arrangements have been reviewed and adjusted to prevent any untoward incident. Additional security even after having Z Plus Shivraj Singh Chouhan already has Z+ category security. Despite this, after receiving new inputs, the Centre has sent directions to MP DGP, Delhi Police Special Commissioner (Security) and MP Chief Secretary to strengthen security. Alert increased in both Bhopal and Delhi Immediately after receiving the input, local police and security agencies have strengthened Chouhan’s security ring in both cities. Increased security was seen outside the Bhopal bungalow late Friday night.
