See, two pictures… Similar crash reported two days ago in Seoni Just two days earlier, on 8 November, a trainee aircraft had crashed in Seoni after hitting a 33 kV high-voltage transmission line. Trainer pilot Ajit Anthony and trainee pilot Ashok Chhabra were injured in that incident. The Red Bird Aviation aircraft had taken off from the Sukatara airstrip. During landing, its wing struck the lower part of a 33 kV line near the Badalpar substation. The collision caused a loud explosion, sparking flashes from the wires, and the aircraft spiralled into a nearby field. According to Kurai Station House Officer (TI) Kripal Singh Tekam, preliminary findings indicated the aircraft engine was failing to generate power. The pilot had contacted the control room to prepare for an emergency landing in a field, but the aircraft struck the power line before it could descend safely. Dainik Bhaskar attempted to contact staff members of Red Bird Aviation, but calls went unanswered.
