A couple from Rajasthan visiting Kubereshwar Dham in Sehore was secretly filmed in their hotel room, and the private video was later circulated on social media. An FIR has been registered, and Mandi police have arrested four men under relevant sections of the IT Act. Couple on pilgrimage to Kubereshwar Dham The couple had travelled from Rajasthan for a pilgrimage to Kubereshwar Dham and checked into a local hotel. During their stay, a young man working at a nearby hotel allegedly noticed that the room lights were on and the curtains partially open. He took advantage of this and secretly recorded an objectionable video of the couple. Police said the accused then forwarded the clip to his friends, leading to its wider circulation. The video was recorded and shared without the couple’s knowledge or consent, prompting swift action by the authorities. Case registered on hotel manager’s complaint The incident came to light after Krishna Pal alias Krishna Verma, manager of Hotel Damruwala, lodged a written complaint at Mandi police station on December 8. He reported that an objectionable video of the couple was found on the mobile phone of the accused, Sumit Perwal. Upon verification, it was confirmed that the video featured the same couple staying at his hotel. FIR registered against four accused According to CSP Abhinandana Sharma, Mandi police have booked four youths—Ankit Jatav, Vinod Malviya, Sumit Perwal, and Kamlesh alias Kanak Kaushal—under various sections of the IT Act.
