Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, for his two-day tour, arrived at the Maharaja Chhatrasal Convention Centre in Khajuraho, where he was welcomed by Bundeli folk performers.
He will review departmental work and participate in several development programmes. CM to launch and inaugurate projects worth ₹510 crore During his visit, the Chief Minister will perform the ground-breaking ceremony and inaugurate 29 development and construction works worth Rs 510.65 crore across Chhatarpur district.
These include hospitals, health centres, school buildings, labs, wards, and major road upgrades in Gaurihar and Lavkushnagar blocks. Food Department review; minister slams Congress Following his arrival, CM Yadav reviewed the performance of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department along with Minister Govind Singh Rajput. Minister Rajput said the CM appreciated the department’s work and slammed Congress, saying, “Congress has no achievements to show. Wherever Congress joins hands with anyone, the partner ends up disappearing.” Bundelkhand receiving special focus, says minister Minister Govind Singh added that the CM has shown “special favour” towards Bundelkhand. He highlighted possibilities of large industrial plants in Sagar, Niwari and Chhatarpur, and ongoing focus on mining, Panna diamonds and Khajuraho’s tourism development.
