Silver prices touched a new all-time high of ₹1,79,025 per kg on December 5, rising ₹2,400 from the previous close of ₹1,76,625, according to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA). Gold also saw an uptick. The price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold increased by ₹733 to ₹1,28,578, up from ₹1,27,845. Gold’s highest-ever level remains ₹1,30,874, recorded on October 17.
