A bridge on the Bareilly–Pipariya road in Raisen district suddenly collapsed on Monday. Two motorcycles fell from the bridge, leaving four riders injured. Traffic on the route has been stopped, and local authorities are investigating possible negligence. Motorcyclists injured in collapse The Nayagaon bridge collapsed without warning while two motorcycles were crossing it. Four people were injured in the fall. One motorcycle was carrying residents of Jait in Sehore. The other was carrying residents of Dhokheda in Bareilly. All four injured people have been admitted to Bareilly Civil Hospital. Officials reach the scene After receiving information, the Station House Officer (SHO), SDOP, and Tehsildar reached the spot. A crowd also gathered soon after the accident. Police are managing the situation and checking the condition of the damaged structure. Labourers escape in time Construction work was taking place beneath the bridge at the time of the collapse. Many labourers were working under it. When they saw the bridge start to fall, they ran away and saved their lives. Officials said the accident could have caused far more harm if the workers had not moved immediately. He confirmed that four people were injured and taken to hospital. He is visiting the site and collecting information about the incident. Negligence alleged against MPRDC Villagers are blaming the collapse on negligence by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC).They say the sudden failure of the structure shows poor maintenance. People at the spot are angry and demanding action.Due to the road closure, travellers are facing serious inconvenience. Police and villagers remain at the location to assess the damage and guide traffic.
