In Simra Khurd village, under the Jatara police station area of Tikamgarh district, a land dispute turned into a bloody conflict on Sunday. In this violent incident, three real brothers died and four others were seriously injured. Police reached the spot and admitted the injured to Jatara Hospital. The dispute was over 6 bighas of land belonging to Laxmi Prasad Lodhi, which was in the name of his uncle Ghanshyam Lodhi. The deceased brothers and their relatives had claimed the land, while the accused party tried to sow seeds with a tractor. When stopped, they attacked with sticks and an axe. One died on the spot, two in the hospital
Parmalal Lodhi, Chaturbhuj Lodhi, and Balram alias Balle Lodhi died in this bloody conflict. One of them died on the spot, while two succumbed during treatment at Jatara hospital. Munni Lodhi, Rekha Lodhi, 7-year-old Sneha Lodhi, and 17-year-old Karan Lodhi were seriously injured in the attack. Jatara SDOP Abhishek Gautam visited the hospital, met the victims, and assured them of the arrest of the accused. Collector Vivek Shrotriya and ASP also visited the crime scene and took stock of the situation. They instructed for the immediate arrest of the accused. Police have registered a case against 7 people in this matter.
