Salman, the accused in the rape of a 6-year-old innocent girl in Gauharganj, Raisen, kept misleading for an hour and a half after being caught. He kept claiming to be a resident of Ashta. Not only that, he didn’t even tell his correct name. He kept identifying himself as Ansar. Local youths first caught him on Thursday night (November 27) in Bhopal’s Gandhi Nagar area. One of them, Rizwan, said that his friend Raja had informed him about it. Salman’s photo was viral on social media, so he recognized him. However, in initial questioning, he told the police that he had come to Bhopal on foot. On Saturday evening, Salman was shifted from the emergency ward of Hamidia Hospital to a regular ward. His foot has developed an infection from the gunpowder of the bullet. A team of doctors is keeping him under observation. It is being reported that it will take time for him to fully recover. Meanwhile, Raisen police have taken him on a ten-day remand. After being discharged from the hospital, the police can also extend his remand period as per bail. Hindu organization demands action against those who provided shelter On Saturday, workers of Maa Bhawani Hindu organization reached the office of ACP Umesh Tiwari. There, they filed a written complaint alleging that Salman was given shelter in their home by Baby, Wasim, and Sanam, who live in Sai Board, Bhopal. He stayed at their house until he was caught in Gandhi Nagar. The organization has demanded action after investigation. He continuously wore a mask to hide his identity. Wandering through outer routes, he reached Gandhi Nagar again and was hiding there until the night before his arrest. Salman is a permanent warrantee of Shahganj police station, Budni Accused Salman is a permanent warrantee from Budni. This warrant was issued against him in a case of mobile theft by breaking into a house, registered in 2019. This case is from Shahganj, in which the complainant Abid Khan had filed a report. It is alleged that Salman broke into the complainant’s house and stole a mobile phone. Shahganj police had arrested him in this case on April 28, 2019. This case was pending in the Budni court, but Salman consistently remained absent from hearings. For this reason, the Budni Court declared him a permanent warrantee in 2023.
