The Indian team for the Under-19 Asia Cup has been announced. Ayush Mhatre has been handed the captaincy of the team released on Friday, while Vihan Malhotra has been made the vice-captain. The Indian team’s first match will be on December 12 against Qualifier 1. The team will play against Pakistan on December 14. The final match of the tournament will be played on December 21. So far, 12 editions of the tournament have been held. India has won the most titles, 7 of them. While once, they shared the winner’s trophy with Pakistan. Bangladesh has won 2 titles. Pakistan and Afghanistan have won one title each.
