It is a matter of pride for all of us that a world-renowned company like Tesla has opened its center in Gurugram. This is Tesla’s first center in Haryana and I heartily welcome and congratulate the company. Haryana becomes investors’ hub The Chief Minister said that Haryana has now become a major hub for domestic and foreign investors. Under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has touched new heights of development and Haryana is leading in this race. He informed that before 2014, Haryana’s exports were only Rs 70,000 crores, which has now crossed Rs 2 lakh 75 thousand crores in 2025. Formation of MSME Department CM Saini highlighted the state’s industrial development over the past 11 years, saying that Haryana has emerged as a major center for leading industries. During this period, 12 lakh 20 thousand 872 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have been established in the state. Ease of Doing Business has been fully implemented to accelerate industrial development, and a separate MSME department has also been formed. He said that to further reduce the cost of doing business, a decision has been taken to create a special leasing policy for industrial plots. Electric vehicle sector will be strengthened The Chief Minister expressed confidence that Tesla’s contribution will be extremely important in Haryana’s rapid development. The inauguration of the Tesla center will give new strength to the electric vehicle sector in Gurugram and create new employment opportunities. Cabinet Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that under the BJP government, Haryana is becoming the most preferred investment destination. The arrival of global companies like Tesla is proof that law and order, infrastructure and policy stability in the state are world-class. Super charger will be installed This Tesla center will have Model Y live displays along with state-of-the-art diagnostic and service bays. Currently, 14 cars are on display here, many of which will be delivered today. Initially, superchargers with capacity up to 250 kilowatts will also be installed. The company has announced that in the next 6 months, more than 20 destination chargers and 8 supercharging stations will be established in Gurugram-Delhi-NCR. Proposal to set up assembly unit In a recent meeting between CM Nayab Saini and Tesla officials, a proposal was made to establish a manufacturing or at least an assembly unit in Haryana. In response, Tesla decided to first open its largest experience and service center in Gurugram. Automobile sector will get a boost Tesla’s CKD (Completely Knocked Down) assembly unit is expected to be set up in Haryana within the next two years. This will create thousands of high-tech jobs. Officials say that Tesla’s entry will not only strengthen electric mobility, but will also provide a major boost to startups involved in battery manufacturing, software development, artificial intelligence and autonomous driving technology.
