However, Kamil Mishara was out for 12 runs. Wicketkeeper Kusal Mendis supported Nissanka as the latter scored 98 runs off 58 balls and led the team to victory in 16.2 overs. Mendis remained unbeaten on 25 runs. Brad Evans took the only wicket for Zimbabwe. Richard Ngarava, Tino Maposa, Captain Sikandar Raza, and Wellington Masakadza could not take any wickets.
