South Africa lead by 480 runs in Guwahati Test:Rahul Yashasvi will continue India’s innings today; Muthusamy scored century for SA

The second Test match between India and South Africa is being played in Guwahati. The third day’s play of the match will start today at 9 AM. South Africa were all out for 489 runs in their first innings, while India scored 9 runs without loss. KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal will continue the innings for the team today. Senuran Muthusamy’s century on Day 2 South Africa had won the toss and opted to bat on Saturday at the Barsapara Stadium. Senuran Muthusamy scored 109 and Marco Jansen made 93 runs. Tristan Stubbs played an innings of 49 and captain Temba Bavuma scored 41 runs. From India, Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets. Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Ravindra Jadeja got 2 wickets each. Jansen equalled Shahid Afridi Marco Jansen hit 7 sixes in his innings of 93 runs. He equalled Shahid Afridi’s record for hitting the most sixes in an innings against India. Afridi had hit 7 sixes at the Lahore ground in 2006. India took 6 wickets on the first day On the first day, South Africa lost only 2 wickets in the initial 2 sessions. The score crossed 150.
