A speeding car violently collided with three bike riders near Amravat on Sagar Road in Raisen, around 8 pm on Sunday night. The accident was so horrific that one person died, while two people were seriously injured. According to eyewitnesses, after the collision, two youths riding the bike fell on the road, while the third person was thrown and got stuck in the car’s front windshield. Despite this, the car driver continued driving for about 200 meters. Upon receiving information, the police cordoned off the area, stopped the car, and seized the vehicle. Angry people staged road blockade in Amravat After the accident, local people became enraged and blocked roads in the Amravat area. People demanded financial assistance for the family of the deceased Amit Ahirwar and strict action against the accused car driver. Upon receiving information, SDM Manish Sharma, SDOP Pratibha Sharma and Station In-charge Narendra Goyal reached the spot. SDOP Pratibha Sharma assured appropriate action, after which the villagers ended their road blockade. Injured admitted to hospital Police sent both injured youths to the district hospital. The body of deceased Amit Ahirwar has been kept in the mortuary for post-mortem. All three youths were residents of Bankhedi and were going towards Raisen when this accident occurred.
