Indian equity benchmarks erased all the previous session’s gains to settle negatively on Friday, 21 November tracking the global sell-off triggered by overnight selling on Wall Street. The Sensex and Nifty shed 0.47% each to close at 85,231.92 points and 26,068.15 points, respectively. 19 out of 30 Sensex stocks closed on a negative note. Sectorally barring FMCG, all other major indices slipped in red at close.
