He was kept under observation for a day and later discharged, with doctors confirming that he is recovering well. The BCCI has stated that Gill will travel with the team to Guwahati on 19th November, 2025. The medical team will continue to monitor his condition closely, and a final decision regarding his participation in the second Test will be taken based on his progress.
