The 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) will be released today, November 19. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer ₹2,000 to the bank accounts of nearly 9 crore farmers across India. Under PM-KISAN, small and marginal farmers receive ₹6,000 per year in three equal installments of ₹2,000, directly deposited into their bank accounts. About PM-Kisan Launched in February 2019, the scheme provides eligible farmers ₹6,000 annually via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Currently, more than 10 crore farmers across the country benefit from PM-KISAN.
