Indian stock markets opened in red on Friday, 14 November 2025 on the counting day of the Bihar Legislative Assembly General Elections 2025. Sensex fell over 280 points to 84,218.83 points. Additionally, Nifty dipped below 25,800 level during the early trade. Sensex – top losers The stocks of TMCV, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, ITC, TCS, HCL Tech, Maruti, etc were among the major losers on the Sensex at the opening. Nifty IT dips 0.79% In the sectoral front, most of the thematic indices traded at a loss at opening. On 13 November, DIIs bought shares worth ₹383.68 crore Indian markets stay afloat in run-up to the Bihar election counting day: Both the prime stock gauges had settled in green in the previous four consecutive sessions leading up to the counting day on Friday.
