The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) held a strong protest at the Bhind District Collectorate on Thursday, demanding action against atrocities on weaker sections and justice for victims. For nearly three hours, BSP workers gathered at the Collectorate gate, shouting slogans like “Collector come out” and “Down with Collector.” They demanded to meet the District Collector in person. The protesters first submitted a memorandum to the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) but later withdrew it, insisting that they would only hand it over to the Collector himself. According to the party, their key demands include stopping atrocities against weaker sections in Bhind district, ensuring justice for the affected people, and solving the ongoing problems faced by farmers. On Thursday afternoon, Bahujan Samaj Party workers, led by former MLA Sanjay Singh alias Sanju Singh, reached the District Collectorate in large numbers. The protesters had come to submit a memorandum addressed to the President. ADM Laxmikant Pandey received the memorandum and listened to the problems, but some workers protested, stating that the memorandum would only be given to the Collector, not the ADM. Slogans of ‘Collector Murdabad’ were raised Seeing the situation worsen, the ADM tried to contact Collector Karorilal Meena, but he was busy in a video conference. At this, the protestors became agitated and started shouting slogans while sitting at the Collector’s gate. Slogans like “Collector Murdabad”, “Collector come out” echoed. Around 4:30 PM, SDM Akhilesh Sharma arrived at the spot and managed the situation by explaining. Finally, at 5 PM, a 10-member delegation met the Collector and submitted a memorandum. During the program, Sanjeev Singh addressed the workers and said that if the demands of the Bahujan Samaj Party are not met, a massive protest will soon be organized in the district. He said, “Our fight is not with any society, but with the system.
