Indore woman alleges torture, repeated rape, and forced conversion:Victim claims man branded her with cigarette and made her eat meat

In Indore, Karni Sena activists caught a youth, Happy Punjabi alias Irfan Ali, on Sunday night and handed him over to Vijaynagar police. He is accused of raping a young woman, coercing his friend to rape her, feeding her cattle meat, forcing religious conversion, blackmail, and supplying drugs at clubs and parties. Police have registered a case against Irfan Ali. Karni Sena activists caught him late Sunday night near the bypass after receiving information about his misdeeds. Upon being caught, he argued but was taken to the police station, where a 21-year-old woman made serious allegations against him. Irfan Ali has also been externed from Dewas district. Based on the victim’s complaint, Vijaynagar police have registered a case against Irfan Ali under sections including rape and forced religious conversion. Now, the police are interrogating him and gathering information about other people associated with him.
