Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited Maa Janaki Temple at Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi on Saturday. During his visit, he performed aarti and offered prayers at the shrine. Speaking after the visit, Yadav said, I am continuously campaigning for our NDA candidates in the Bihar elections. Today, I got the opportunity to visit Mata Janaki’s birthplace. He said that Congress and its allies never promoted religious tourism, whereas places like Ayodhya, Banaras, and Ujjain have shown how such centers can transform people’s lives. Yadav said, Exposing Congress and its conspiracies, we have seen the change that comes through faith and culture. The NDA believes in developing these spiritual places for the benefit of society. PM approves funds for Janakpuri Dham project Referring to development plans for the region, Yadav said that on the proposal of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved funds for developing Mata Sita’s birthplace, Janakpuri Dham. The Chief Minister added that he prayed to Maa Janaki for the welfare of the poor, women, youth, and farmers. Roadshow and public meetings in East Champaran Later in the day, CM Mohan Yadav held a roadshow in Dhaka, East Champaran, covering a distance of nearly 8 kilometers. Over five thousand people gathered along the route to greet him. Yadav is scheduled to address four public meetings in East Champaran today, in Chiraiya, Narkatiaganj, and Motihari, campaigning in support of NDA-backed candidates.
