Nitish Kumar – richest candidate fighting Bihar election: On the other hand, the richest candidate fighting the assembly elections is Nitish Kumar. According to ‘Myneta.info’, the third richest person on the list of those who are contesting the election is Jan Suraaj Party’s Sandip Kumar Singh with over ₹80 crore worth of assets. He is fighting from the Maner constituency. According to the website of the ‘Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar’, Singh has spent over ₹15 lakh at rallies in run-up to the election. Samrat Choudhary spends close to ₹15 lakh: While, Bihar Dy Chief Minister, Samrat Choudhary, has declared that he incurred expenses to the tune of ₹14.85 lakh by 4 November 2025 during the campaigns. On the other hand, Dy CM, Vijay Kumar Sinha declared expenses of ₹8.45 lakh on the rally. Sinha fights from Lakhisarai district. Similarly, actor Pawan Singh’s wife, Jyoti Singh who filed nomination from Karakat constituency in the Rohtas district has spent more than ₹3.50 lakh during the rallies. Late gangster and former MP from Siwan, Mohammad Shahabuddin’s son Osama Sahab who is fighting from Rahunathpur constituency has declared that he has spent over ₹4.65 lakh on Bihar elections. Whereas, the folk singer Maithili Thakur who is contesting from Alinagar for BJP has declared that she has spent over ₹10 lakh during the campaigns as of 4 November.
