In Jhabua, a young man cut off his wife’s nose with a blade and beat her with a stick. The attack left a part of her nose severed. After the incident, he himself took her to the hospital. She has now been referred to the district hospital for treatment. The incident happened on Tuesday evening in Padal village of Ranapur. Rakesh (23) and his wife Geeta Bai (22) had returned from Santrampur, Gujarat, the same day after working there as labourers. He attacked her because he didn’t like that she talked to other people. Said I will divorce you, then started beating The victim woman stated that on Tuesday evening around 4:30 PM, her husband came home intoxicated. A dispute arose between them over this matter. The husband said on the way, “Let’s go home, we will call everyone. We will divorce you.” As soon as they reached home, he started assaulting her. He brought a blade from somewhere and cut off my nose. He also attacked her hands with the blade. He also beat her with a stick. Husband had forbidden her from talking to others Geeta said that she used to talk to another young man. However, her husband had also forbidden it. He was angry about this. Later, I also said that I don’t want to stay with you either. Police said – the severed part of the nose was not found ASP Pratipal Singh Mahobia said that the incident was reported around 10 PM. Other family members were also present at the time of the incident. The accused Rakesh, son of Dongar Singh Bilwal, has been arrested. The police have not found the severed part of the nose. It is suspected that animals ate it. He has been presented in court and sent to jail. Civil Surgeon said – Medical College referred Civil Surgeon of District Hospital, ML Malviya, stated that Dr. Kanhaiya Lal Patidar provided the treatment. The front part of the victim’s nose was cut off. No skin is left. Therefore, he has been referred to the Medical College to be sent to a plastic surgeon, but the family has not taken him yet.
