A video of Makhan Nagar police station in-charge Madan Pawar from Narmadapuram area surfaced on Monday, showing him hitting two criminals on their palms and soles with a belt. The incident is reported to have occurred on October 25. Both videos clearly show that the station in charge, Madan Pawar, beat up both accused one by one. According to sources, a policeman present at the station had secretly recorded this video. Beat with belt while placing shoes on feet In the first video, the station in charge makes the accused sit on the ground, places shoes on his feet, and then continuously strikes his soles with a belt. In the second video, the accused is being beaten with a belt and fists while holding his hair. According to information, the accused, Sameer Khan, is disabled. TI said – Strictness was imposed to explain to the criminals After the video surfaced, Station In-charge Madan Pawar said that both criminals, Sameer Khan alias Pidda and Vishnu Kahar, are notorious criminals of the area. They had threatened to kill the sarpanch of Rajon village and tried to attack Jitu Keer’s house. Strictness was exercised to explain to them because of their use of abusive language and creating disturbance in society. Apology summoned at police station, made to speak on camera In the third video, a person can be seen making both accused apologize on camera. They can be heard saying, “Brother Jeetu, Brother Golu, I will not talk to you after today.” According to sources, this video was made by the station in-charge in front of the youth from the other party. This raises serious questions about the working style and impartiality of the station in-charge. Demand for investigation, senior officers silent After the video surfaced, the police department has not issued any official statement. However, demands for an investigation into the matter are being raised.
