The visitors did have their share of faults, but match-winner Jemimah Rodrigues’ emotional breakdown was the highlight of the moments. After defeating Australia in the Women’s ODI World Cup semi-final, Jemimah Rodrigues started crying with folded hands. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, sitting in the pavilion, also could not hold back her tears as India steered close to chasing the total. India defeated Australia by 5 wickets with Amanjot Kaur’s four. Both teams mourn the loss of 17-year-old Aussie cricketer In Melbourne, Australia, 17-year-old club cricketer Ben Austin died on Thursday morning after being hit by a ball. Ben was practising batting in the club nets in front of an automatic bowling machine. He was wearing a helmet, but the ball hit him on the back of his head and neck.
